Hey,
For one of Origo Sounds spring albums we need an artist/musician to remix one or two tracks from the album Noxia by the Swedish artist SynthX. The original music are melodic and epic tracks in the tradition of Jarre, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, perhaps a bit of Royksopp and contemporary electronica.
The musician must have access to Nuendo and perhaps also a newer version of Cubase, and you can also get the .arr file for midi information. The remix should be finished as soon as possible, as we are going to master the album asap.
We cannot pay cash for this job, but in return you'll get exposure on the album, on Origo Sound's websites, on the forthcoming Planet Origo retail website (which will be important for anyone composing and selling electronic music), in the Noxia press kit, in the general internet-wide marketing for this album, and when we do catalogue promotions. And SynthX, a Swedish musician, has agreed to make a remix as a return favour for the artist who helps him this time.
The style we are looking for should be within any of the following genres; melodic space electronica, ambient, ambient techno, symphonic trance/eurodance, electronic jazz (what I call jazzotronica), semi new age, synth pop, etc. In fact, anything similar to music we have released on Origo Sound before (see http://www.cdbaby.com/all/origosound if you are unsure) or the artists mentioned above.
The remixer must deliver a high quality uncompressed audio file within a short time, assign rights to Origo Sound, and keep the playing time within 5 - 10 minutes.
Please let me know asap if this is of interest, write to glenn @ folkvord.net
