Return to Forever's Romantic Warrior

I gotta believe there are some fans of the album Romantic Warrior by Return to Forever (with Chick Corea, Al DiMeola, Lenny White and Stanley Clarke - talk about a fusion supergroup). Corea's moog solos on this album are excellent and the whole album still sounds fresh (it was recorded in 1976).

Any other folks love this CD?

I sure do Bill. RTF's '76 tour stop at Orchestra Hall in downtown Mpls. might just be the best concert i've ever seen/heard. Every time I play this album I think back to that great show!

Fantastic album. And so are "No mystery" and "Where have I known you before".

While mentioning Chick Corea, it makes me think immediately on my favorite album of him which is 'My Spanish Heart' (lots of nice moog solos), and while mentionning Lenny White, "Venusian Summer" is absolutely fabulous.

BTW, of course I LOVE the CD you mention from RTF (and all the others too)

Fabulous album, haven't heard it in years.

Have just ordered the CD as I no longer have a record player.

Thanks for the reminder guys!

Just got my CD from caiman.

Happily, even better than I remembered, fantastic composing and virtuoso playing.

Which is good news after my crushing disappointment with the Refugee live CD.

I certainly have to check it out. This is one of those "heard-a-lot-about-but-never-actually-heard" albums that are in the higher regions of my wanted-list.
