These news really do hit me hard this morning. I had just visited Jon's website a few days ago after I read somehwere that he had to cancel a show in Germany, and found a statement there would be no reason to worry, etc.

To say that he was one of my favorite musicians doesn't really do justice to what his music and playing means to me - actually, he even used to appear in my dreams from time to time. And one day I even realized that (on the few occasions) when I talked in English,I imitated his way to speak. For years I hoped to be able to attend one of his classical concerts - now it will never happen. I'm really, really sad about this...
