According to several (independent) posts on FB American ambient artist Michael Allison aka Darshan Ambient apparently passed away recently, due to cancer.

I couldn't find anything like an "official" announcement yet, though...

I guess his death makes me investigate his stuff further. That's how it is sometimes.

This is very sad. I used to have contact with Michael via email some years ago and he sent me some of his works on CDR for a review. He was really a nice bloke and a talented musician. RIP.
