Michael Renzel was a brilliant synthesist and electronic composer, and one of the organisers of the "Dinosaurier-Treffen", a vintage synthesizer gathering in Bocholt / Germany that was a popular event in the local electronic music scene and an opportunity for (mostly German) artists and projects to perform live (for example TMA, Alien Nature or Stephen Parsick. Also Tommy Betzler and I had the honour and the pleasure to performe live there twice, first time in 2013 as "Betzler & Brückner", and five years later as P'Faun) - unforgettable, sweet memories!
Michael passed away recently, much too young, after struggeling with a terminal disease for some time.
He was a kind person and a great, supportive organiser.
He will be missed!
