Anyone who remembers Rupert Hine

known for his work as musician and producer

personally much appreciate his album "Waving not Drowning"

a combination of EM with a bit of Prog but most of all interesting Music

Wim van Putten of the TROS "CD-show" played a lot of Rupert Hine's music. I never bought anything of him.

I love his Immunity album from 1981. Amazing production for that time.

At the time, stuff like Surface Tension

was seen as state-of-art smart pop. I think he did good.

Peter Hammill released Sitting Targets in 1981. 1981 was not a bad year at all. Sadly neither Hine nor Hammill became the Donna Summers of synthy progpop.
