Hello,

At E-Live (2017) I bought the usb stick Reverse Engineering from Seifert & Steinbuechel.
When I put the stick in my PC I get nothing :(
Does anyone else have this problem? Can someone tell me how to contact Erik?

Thank you!

I bought one too.

At first I thought the same.

In the top directory there is just a facebook video and introduction trailer.

Look for subdirectories in Wav and Mp3. That is where the music files are. Use file explorer for example.

It is definitely NOT Autoplay (at least that's my experience)

Good luck! 👍

If you still want or need to get in touch; surf to https://seifertsteinbuechel.bandcamp.com and get in touch there.

That way, I got an answer to anotther question. And quickly too.

I had no problem with Reverse Engineering or Softlock!
I used the USB outlet on the front on my Blu-ray player and
up popped the menu with Wav and mp3 format and lots of graphics.
Have not tried RE on my computer, but did Softlock...no problem.
Rather listen to it on my stereo anyway.
found RE to not play as well as Softlock.
The endings and beginnings of songs seemed abrupt.
Will have to listen to them again.

Well,

when I put the stick in I get absolutely nothing, No top folder, no subfolders, no files.
Seems like a dodgy USB stick.

I have Softlock too, no problems with that one.
I will have to get in touch. I will try the bandcamp link.

Greetings.

Tried my RE in my computer this AM and it worked fine.
Went right to the Facebook vjdeo.
Skip that and the music files are listed to play.
You may have a bad stick as you surmise.
Actually like this format as you get a lot of music, videos, etc.
Be careful the arm does not break off!!!

Maybe you could be helpful too and share the solution? There could be others with the same issue (not me b.t.w., as I don't have that stick).

The stick is really dead, so Erik provided the files that should be on the stick.
So, a simple but helpfull solution :)

Greetings.
