Who is on Soundcloud here ?

I wanted to add a comment to Paul Ellis' page so I joined Soundcloud and logged in. Now, my frustration has reached high levels  . How do you add a comment on this site ? I've been on it for close to an hour and I just can't do it. I am supposed to click on the lower part of the waveform, I believe. Well, this does NOTHING. I also tried to click on the heart-shaped icon corresponding to the track I want to comment on. The heart icon turns into the "Like" text and ... that's all. No message window appears. Although I'm logged in and I click on the right places, nothing happens. Please, what browsers do you use and HOW IS IT DONE ?

Thanks. Excuse my fury, but I just can't stand those sites that can't do things simply and have to turn your experience into a nightmare just because simplicity isn't the trend and an idiotic layout is (that orange - yuck !).

Thank you very much, though I prefer Bandcamp - there's no accounting for tastes, as the saying goes. Aren't you on Bandcamp, too ? I think I saw some of your albums there.

yes I am there also, but soundcloud is good for fast releasing of lone tracks.

on soundcloud people can join two ore more tracks to one stream, there you can not comment, may be that was your problem.

as example:

https://soundcloud.com/carol-n…stra-works

which has two tracks combined, those are lower at the page, when you click on the original track you can comment.

btw my bandcamp: http://phrozenlight.bandcamp.com/

Soundcloud and Bandcamp serve different purposes IMHO.

Bandcamp for selling music.

Soundcloud for previewing audio.

Use both.
