Stars End ~ What Happened?

I know a lot of people respect Chuck van Zyl and I do too, but it seems to me Stars End of today is nowhere near what it use to be. It has become so boring I have to turn it off. This past week around 5 AM there was basically a guitar track over a mellow synth back ground that went on and on for more than 25 minutes. I was lucky not to fall asleep listening to it while I was driving to work.

What happened to the Stars End of old when you would hear brain ripping space music?

According to the playlist that must have been Manuel G

I did not mean to put down that 25+ minute track and I should have known it was Manuel. I think if I was listening to it on my home system it would be nice, but when I am driving to work at 5 AM I need some brain ripping space music to wake me up.

I've been a listener to Star's End for years. It always seemed to me that Chuck starts out with higher energy music and mellows out through the hours.

OK, that seems like a good explaination but I only get to listen from 5 to 5:30 AM on the ride in to work.

Maybe Chuck will play something with high energy in the last hour and get me in the mood to go to work this Sunday.

This past Sunday morning drive was much more what I need in the morning to get me going. I did not check the playlist but I remember sitting in the parking lot wishing I did not have turn it off and go to work.

The funny (?) thing is Chuck was on vacation!
