Great news!

The Blue Albedo 039 is of quite low quality (many clicks even after i changed it 3 times on Amazon and of course cleaned it every time). Spiral sounds better (yet the Lp is not by far gold - more a grey/very dark green colour). It’s a pity that they are not gatefold releases, even if the price is quite high (around 25 GBPs!).

Beaubourg is one of my Vangelis favourites - IMHO actually his only one pure electronic album. For me It’s on the same level as for ex. Froese’s Epsilon in Malaysian Pale (one is a Yamaha CS80 megaopus, the other one a Mellotron megaopus). Probably i wil buy this one too. I hope that they will release an orange(?) Heaven and Hell version too, but not with the sh**y Cherry Red / Esoteric version.

I liked Beaubourg from the very first moment. I guess I bought the spanish edition by Iberofon s.a. It didn't have a good sound. It took almost a decade before it was released on CD.

It takes me back to my youth and those science-fiction films. It reminds me of the series Cosmos (the story of Champollion, in the episode Encyclopaedia Galactica).

Sagan included excerpts on the disc of the series. It is a hypnotic, spatial and deep album. A masterpiece.
