"Views of Mind" will be available on all streaming and download platforms at the end of july.
A little update about my current musical activity: Paul Haslinger and me, we have just completed a collaboration project, "Mallarmé" (named after the French poet of the XIXth century). Three immersive and abstract tracks, around 20 minutes each... Our friend Michel Geiss is currently in charge with the mastering. We are considering various options for this release, we will let you know as soon as possible. And yes, we are already thinking about a second album project!
The UK based Audion magazine will publish a 6 pages interview (!) with me in its August issue (# 83): Lightwave, the pro and cons of being an independent musician, composing electronic music today, thoughts about the new ecosystem of music distribution, etc.... (Many thanks to Andy Garibaldi and Alan Freeman!)
-----
"Views of Mind” continues my recent trend towards ambient chamber music, blending electronic soundscapes with acoustic instruments, and moving towards a kind of atmospheric classical music.
Through its minimalism, this new album is introspective, unwinding the threads of a slow, fluid, serene and meditative musical reverie.
Like a sonic screen on which to project intimate films, “Views of Mind” encourages contemplative listening, away from the tumult of the world...
