Klaus Schulze - 101, Milky Way

Previously unreleased soundtrack for a german documentary, circa 2008. I discovered it yesterday on Bandcamp.

Typical piece of KS post-2000 era, maybe too much hype about it (all in all Bandcamp needs to sell, I understand it). Good music, but nothing revolutionary or astounding.

Klaus is my favourite musician but these were my thoughts too, not mentioning that the CD was made from mp3 files (256, not 320) but don't mention this on FB Sad

It`s an Axess cd!!!
What??
It says Pyramid Peak on the cover!!!
It is only Axel Stupplich, a.k.a. Axess playing on it!
It says Pyramid Peak on the cover....
Only Axess is playing, the other bandmates left, therefore it is an Axess solo cd!
It SOUNDS like a Pyramid Peak cd, not an...
It`s an Axess cd!!!!!

I tend to agree to "nothing revolutionary". I think it sounds almost exactly like "Silhouette". Which is interesting, given "Silhoutte" is from 2018 (when Klaus already was struggling with serious health troubles), but this album was recorded ten years before that. I think compared to what Klaus still was up to in 2007 (Kontinuum) and 2008 (Rheingold) he could have made a little more out of it.

Then again, he didn't care to release it back then, so perhaps he didn't think it was very strong material, either...

Axess - Resurrection
Uh-Oh!!
Whenever I see a title like this I think someone has died!
Unfortunately this is true. Axess` wife died last July.
An UNIMAGINABLE loss.
Kudos to him for making this cd of music, despite his loss!
A really GOOD piece of music that is more upbeat than somber as the
title suggests.
Very sad subject, great piece of music!
