10 years is a long time, but it has in fact been that long since Origo Sound released it's Future Proof series of three albums; Dimension D, Nanotopia and Enter the Dream. These futuristic albums from Norway, by artists Exile, Circular and Current - who were all new to the scene under these names - came out in May 1997. The tag line for the series was "music that will stand the test of time".
And looking back on the music now, I can honestly say that these three albums all sound great today, after 10 years of listening to them and hundreds of other albums. It really is a sign of quality that 10 year old electronic music albums can still sound fresh and contemporary. It's in act a sign of timelessness, or if they have an age, it's an age not yet achieved, an age from the future.
