"Violin" at the end of Madrigal Meridian

Does anyone know for sure whether the "violin" sound at the end of Madrigal Meridian was made by Steve Joliffe on the Computone lyricon?

It's around the 15:00 - 15:45 mark.

Any knowledge from the synth experts on this forum would be much appreciated!

I have no idea, but I am sure Steve himself is willing to answer. He's always been very kind to answer questions. http://www.stevejolliffe.net/contact/

Or if you live near Exeter, you can ask him at the concert on the 25th.

Ironically, I used to live in Sidmouth, then Teignmouth, and I know Exeter very well. I moved away in 2005.

It's too far for me to make for one evening, but if you are going perhaps you could ask him for me!

The Voice and Flute of Tangerine Dream...

Not terribly much to brag about, isn't it?

Well, it could as well have been The guy who would almost have become a member of Supertramp, but just almost.

Yes, it's Steve with the Lyricon.

I discussed this with him recently, so this is `for sure.'

In the TD documentary that was recently broadcast on ARTE, you could watch Steve Jolliffe play the Lyricon during one of the 1978 concerts -- although I tend to say the sound of the Lyricon made me run for cover.

Check here around the 42:00 mark:

Anybody noticed Ashra's "Midnight On Mars" playing there?
