As a Waldorf user, I was very excited to hear that Waldorf was returning from the dead when Mr. Flor purchased the rights to the Waldorf name. Then rumours quickly began circulating that the new Waldorf will no longer support the synthesizers that made Waldorf what they were, the best inovative synth company on the planet. Out of desperation, the once loyal Waldorf synth owners pledged they would be willing to pay for their support when others said the new Waldorf had no legal obligation to those once loyal Waldorf synth owners.
We really won't know how this will unfold until the new Waldorf team releases their new line of synthesizers, the Blofeld and the Stromberg later this year.
I have the feeling that even though they have no legal obligation, they will do the right thing and take care of some unfinished bug fixes and upgrades that the old Waldorf team promised 3 years ago.
All we can do is wait and keep our fingers crossed.
