We are looking for a few guests for the next CD we are busy on.

One item that stands out is a chapman stick player ... we thought we had one but he got tied up with life's adventures and can't complete ...

There are other things too but I thought I just leave that open and see if anyone replies to the post to start off with...

All tracks need to be done in wave format, we use sonar (pro 4) and cubase .. wave best, 48KHz at 24 bits min ... FTP will be provided, I have unlimted space and bandwidth ... old fashion dvd/cd mail works too ...

samples? just email us a mp3 or were to look ...

we are very familar with working tracks via the internet ...

I think you need to put up more info. What are you precisely looking for?

Well that is what I don't want to do, get too precise. I wont to give the guest a bit of freedom..

Chapman Stick, lots of ways to play it and with and without synths (midi pickup). getting more into detail on this...
We would like to work with a stick player who has a midi pick up such that they can play a backing rhythmic, a slight mid-eastern feel, then record both the stick and midi. Midi for us to use with other instruments and karma (both karma software and other stuff I have made) for additions.
Orginal wave too ...

That is one thing, the other is just a wave no midi ...

I sort of feel that was too much detail already ... ;-) but off list if someone is really interested, I can go much further .. The CD in mind is our next one, it is themed on 2 subjects. They might seem apart but they really have a tie in. It's a more Earth bound set of themes.

going further .. past stick ... exotic instruments in the same feel or flavor .. even someone who can do well on a set of keys in this style would work .. not being trained in stick use but one who has heard many in use, I have in mind the style and want to flesh it out around in the way we do our music.

I hope I did not get too much on this ...
