I have been playing live and making music almost all of my life. Now I want to do it professionally with my new material 2007... After all I'm a musician, and I do Music... clueless with the rest...

I just finished it... Obviously, after the copyright process. What next?, Suppose it's brilliant and magnificent  Now What???

And... Then.... I can figure it all by myself.... just wish some comments or advice from someone on the road... !Saludos!... Bye!

well... I guess I'll stick to my original plan: Make my own CD, sell it in the concerts and send it to some labels... something might come up!

Before you fork out huge amounts of money, make a nicely designed CDR as a testing balloon. This is the easiest way to woe concert organisers and listeners alike, and you can check response to your work without taking a huge financial risk.

Even though musicians tend to believe their work was brilliant, audience might have a different view on this which can be rather, erm, interesting.

You've got the right plan. Burn some demo cdr's (always always always put your contact info on both the packaging and the cdr itself... many people separate the disc from the jewel case or sleeve...). Sell your cdr's at your live appearances... find other artists and labels that are similar in idea and sound to your music.
