Hello,
I was searching through EM Italian composers in a Russian site and I found 3 composers.
I thought that their albums should be nice .

I know you want to say that most Italian composers at old days made Jazz music like Umiliani.

But I think these three musicians should have something different however I have never managed to find any LPs by these guys.

Just let me know if you know where I can buy these LPs or mp3 albums by these guys.

I really want to listen to their albums.
Also if you have ever heard these albums by chance let me know and talk about your feelings.

Thanks.
Vincent.

These guys are:

***************
Franco Fabbri
Domestic Flight (1983)

Info:
Rare electronic album by former guitarist of Prog band Stormy Six that makes use of guitar synthesizer, a drum machine and a computer. Cosmic sound.
*****************
Francesco Cabiati(Italy)
Mirage (1979)

Info:
A rare forgotten gem of Italian Electronic Music.
*****************

Roberto Aglieri (Italy)
Ragadapani (1987)

http://keep4u.ru/imgs/b/071021/086fb8d49d93b7f62b.jpg

Info:
Amazing ambient album, continual, minimal tones, acoustic flutes mixed with electronic background.

"Ragapadani" the title derives from the timelesness of oriental culture, appearing apparently like a flat uniform landscape.
When one listens to the individual tracks one is submerged in an intimate, naturalistic, meditative dimension. In each ofthe.se spheres one feels and senses the play between the sparkling reflective sunlight and the shadowy twilight. This is a type of play between popular (fairy tales) and reality. These diverse periods and cultures jazz, classical and traditional folk music are expressed, combined, theorized, developed and improvised into a personal expressive form. The music seems idealistic, or only concerned with the musician's inner Utopia, but it is a confrontation between technology and nature: the electronic sounds are merged with the flutes acoustic emission. And it works!

Hello Vincent!

Unfortunately, I never heard of these musicians before :( I also did a quick search thru Italian websites selling rare records, but I found nothing...

Sorry I couldn't help :(

Have you asked Artemi Pugachov (it was probably his website you were visiting)?

Hi,
Thanks friends for your attention to my request.
It seems that finding these LPs is almost impossible.

I don't know why I always face such problems while I need a LP from Italy.
I always check Artemi's site for Electronic records.
I managed to find most of rare French or German LPs I like, but I couldn't find
even one LP from Italy.
:(
In this case I'm not a purist who just collects LPs and needs to have albums on LPs.
If I could find the albums as Ripped Mp3 ones that would satisfy me.

The only place I know for sharing rare albums is "mutant-sounds" blog and it's my bad luck that the admins there don't like such style of music and argue that such albums are sweet to their ears.

Just take a journey in this blog and you face a wave of Experimental or Industrial albums which are rare for sure.

It seems that I should search through internet for an Italian LP dealer.

Thanks anyway.
Kind Regards,
Vincent.

Try living here for a while and you'll stop wondering about this and many other things... 😉 :(

Hi,
I hope all is well with you friends.

Thank you so much Phrozenlight.
By your help I found this address which is legal for downloading 3 tracks of: "Domestic Flight (1983) ".

http://www.francofabbri.net/pagine/Mp3.htm

I can't understand Italian so it's not clear to me if this album has just 3 tracks or more.
Anyway,I just downloaded 2 small tracks and they seem to me kind of experimental music, however I'm not sure because the main track is still here to be downloaded.

What do you think of his music guys?

The album Mirage is a real Gem.
It's pity this album is not released on CD.
:(

Oh ,Mac.
Are you saying the truth?
Italy is a great European country.
It's hard to believe what you say.

Thank you so much guys.
Best Wishes.
Vincent.

The website doesn't mention anything about it, seems to concentrate more on his present activities than on his past...
However, if you look at illegal mp3 download sites (please do not use them, the bastards kill music) you'll see that they mention two tracks (one around 20 minutes and the other one around 16), and - from what I read on a website, but it was not very clear at all - apparently there was an LP with that title, and then a CD was made with the same title.
The three tracks you found here http://www.francofabbri.net/pagine/Mp3.htm
Have notes beside the titles which I'll translate for you:

Domestic Flights (Franco Fabbri, 1983, from the album Domestic Flights)
Gazz (Franco Fabbri, 1984, from La casa parlante, later on the cd Domestic Flights)
O Pino (Franco Fabbri, 1984, from La casa parlante, later on the cd Domestic Flights)

So the story is a bit complicated, apparently, as two of the tracks you'd filnd on CD (and here for download) were originally part of another album...
