I was thinking that you get Yazoo (Clarke/Moyet) and get them back with the boys from Depeche mode to do some retro and some modern tracks.

Who you you like to see/hear?

Actually, I'm not so much concerned about 'reunions' as much as reissues of classic albums from the era that *still* are not on CD.

Some will no doubt be tied up in legal wrangles, due to the albums being on 'major' labels; others the artist(s) simply do not wish to reissue. Still others garner little if any audience fanfare due to the obscure nature of the records themselves, but, regardless, we all have a few personal faves (not to mention 'want-lists').

Here are but a few examples:

- Greg Hawkes 'Niagara Falls' - perhaps one of the best synthpop albums of the 80s, and sorely underrecognized. As Hawkes is a Facebook friend, I've sent him numerous queries regarding reissuing this (and he indicated as much on his website some years back), but, alas, it doesn't seem likely.

- Trees 'Sleep Convention' - another brilliant 80s album, with an ever larger cult following than 'Niagara Falls'. Dane Conover, who *is* Trees, appears to have vanished, which won't help; I've sent in a request to Wounded Bird about doing this one, but no replies were received (hey, they reissued the superb first Kissing the Pink album, so who knows?)

- Data 'Elegant Machinery'

- The Empty Quarter 'Delerium'

- Spoons 'Arias & Symphonies' - was already issued on CD, but way out of print and very rare...begging for a reissue

- Dalek I Love You (all their recordings)

There are, of course, dozens of others...

I don't need to see Clarke and Depeche Mode back together, DM has been making so much better music than Clark ever has, it would only bring them down.

A full Kraftwerk reunion might be interesting though

Second Decay recording again.
Rational Youth, too.
John Foxx joining Ultravox! again.

Human League getting rid of the girls and OMD making decent albums again.

Data, right. Good, old George Kajanus (of Sailor fame).

I know a guy who once bought their PPG 360.

That's a nice album indeed. A pity it'll probably never been released on cd. But maybe a download (lossless please!) could be an option?
